Our little theater started with cheap can lighting from the Home Depot - eek - oh we’ve grown since then, and we still do a LOT with a little! Every production is an opportunity to improve our craft and elevate our immersive theater. With the walkthrough Walking Tour for Ghosts and live-action filming of Halloween With the Rosses, The Light will be of the essence. Help our tech team create the classic shadowy effects that define the spooky genres we know and love. Melonlight has always been about making our own way; meaning that we produce entertainment in a unique fashion that most of our guests say they've never experienced before. It means we've never waited for someone to "choose us", we simply "choose ourselves" by producing our own work. And now, as we're seeking bigger opportunities and new connections to wonderful people, we realized - it's time to dream even bigger!
With two brand new shows premiering in 2026, your support will help us cover the necessary expenses, including:
PROPS + SET: The details in every show that lock in our audience for total immersion as the story unfolds.
COSTUMES: The visual element of each character that speaks a thousand words before an actor’s first line is even spoken.

Most (ahem, all) theater productions, big or small, require investors, donors or financing of some kind. We're very proud to say that we produce our shows directly from the profits of the previous show. This step to producing and premiering two brand new shows is big, thrilling, and outside of Melonlight's normal production budget. My name is Emily Ulibarri and my husband is Raymond.
We started Melonlight in 2010, but the vision came long before that. We began as a dance studio, specializing in partnership dance with a strong emphasis in creative performance and storytelling. Melonlight was always meant to be a production company.
Now, we have our own immersive theater venue in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, over ten original full length productions and countless small performance projects in our repertoire. Our shows…
